The man who was the first to use disposable plastic sacks for garbage is worthy to be eternized by future
generations. The unpleasant process of handling garbage became almost sterile. However, the use of sacks
in combination with garbage cans needs improvement. It is not always easy to extract a sack packed with
garbage from a can. The sack jams and can break.
The American schoolboy Tony Jarecki who participated in a competition of young inventors of America invented a
dismountable garbage can. The can is vertically divided into two halves connected by latches. The latches open
when necessary, the halves are separated from each other and the sack is easily taken out.
To solve the contradiction (the can must be of a normal size when there is a sack inside and the can must be
larger when it is necessary to take the sack out), the
segmentation principle is used.
