This is what happened one day in the town where Dakho lived.
Khakim was promenading proudly in the streets, with his hands on his hips, when all of a sudden he fell into a well.
Many people assembled around the well, somebody brought a rope. They were trying to get him out of the well, but
Khakim adopted a dignified pose and was standing on the bottom, safe and sound. His hands were still on his hips
so that his elbows abutted against the walls of the narrow well and prevented him from getting out. Some time later,
Khakim felt empty but did not agree to change his pose.
They called Dakho. Dakho looked into the well and said,
"Bring a ground-man here, he will enlarge the well."
"Why doesn't Khakim lower his hands! We'd easily get him out!" the people were crying.
"But Khakim is our ruler," Dakho said. "Another pose would be humiliating for him! Let us widen the well!"
There is nothing to be done! If Khakim does not want
to match
the shape of his body with that of the well, then it is necessary to call ground-men!
